Body Therapy
Tiziana studied Physical Therapy at Stanbridge University and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the PTA program, further developing her knowledge in anatomy, kinesiology which she integrates into her therapeutic work.
The goal of Trovati Body Therapy is to reduce potential downtime through prevention, maintenance and improved repair of the body as a whole. Focus is applied to improving posture and promoting awareness of the mind-body connection, resulting in healthier biomechanics and freedom from pain. The technique initiates with an assessment of the client’s condition and history followed by treatment through body work (massage), self-myofascial release, stretches and exercise.
Injuries, especially those of a chronic nature, are often a result of poor posture and/or repetitive motions due to one’s occupation or sport of choice. Trovati therapy awakens the perception and feel of how we stand and move in space. The body work and self-myofascial release realign muscle fibers and create space in tight or cramped muscles. Subsequently, instruction and practice of improved exercise and stretch techniques will re-educate the body’s movement patterns, resulting in overall improved health.
Ultimately, the goal of Trovati Body Therapy is to empower the individual to manage their overall health and specific ailments through a better understanding of the body’s biodynamic movement and through preventive self-therapy.
TT Therapy will help in the prevention of and recovery from new, old or chronic injury resulting from occupational repetitive movement, sports activity or pain related to poor posture. Manual therapy, such as soft tissue and joint mobilization, together with therapeutic exercises can help relieve pain and restore muscle and joint function and reducing pain. When pain is eliminated and the injury is healed, surgery may be avoided. In the event surgery is required, properly preparing the body, through correct techniques, will decrease overall recovery time. Ultimately, TT Therapy will manage injury prevention, promote self-care and increase body awareness.
